Information gathering and usage

When registering for Indian Skills Academy we ask for information such as your name, email address, phone number and city. Your information is only used internally and won’t be shared with others.

Indian Skills Academy collects the email addresses of those who communicate with us via email, and information submitted through voluntary activities such as app registrations etc. Indian Skills Academy also collects aggregated, anonymous user data regarding app usage. The user data we collect is used to improve Indian Skills Academy and the quality of our service. We only collect personal data that is required to provide our services, and we only store it insofar that is necessary to deliver these services.

Facebook & Google Login Permissions

The Application may by default access your Facebook & Google basic account information, including your name, email, current city, and profile picture URL, as well as other information that you choose to make public. Also please be ensure that the Application will never post on to your or your friend’s feed wall on your behalf.

We may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device’s settings.

Device information such as your mobile device ID number, model, and manufacturer, version of your operating system, phone number, country, location, and any other data you choose to provide.

We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or the Application. If you wish to opt-out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device’s settings.

ACCESS

Users are allowed to access the Platform, register for courses and avail services available with Indian Skills Academy. Indian Skills Academy takes no responsibility or validates the information provided by the user, except as otherwise required under any law, regulation or an order of a competent authority. In order to have access to all the features and benefits on our Platform, a User is required to first create an account on our Platform. To create an account, a User is required to provide Personal Information as may be required during the time of registration.

Your data

Indian Skills Academy uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run Indian Skills Academy. Although Indian Skills Academy owns the code, databases, and all rights to the Indian Skills Academy application, you retain all rights to your data. We will never share your personal data with a third party and we will never sell data to third parties. We process data inside of India. We transfer data with third parties necessary to our ability to provide our services.

We use cookies to store visitors’ preferences, customize web page content based on visitors’ browser type or other information that the visitor sends. Cookies are required to use Indian Skills Academy.

We do not partner with or have any special relationships with any ad server companies.

All data and information transmitted with Service is secured by SSL protocol.

Financial information, such as data related to your valid payment method & tried payment attempts is collected by our payment processing partner i.e. RazorPay. We do not store any financial information. All financial information is stored by our payment processor, RazorPay, and you are encouraged to review their privacy policy and contact them directly for responses to your questions. To fulfill the order request we keep the records of the successful transaction id and the purchase order history related to the same. We may collect Order pertaining history in the form of transaction id, order id when you purchase order, return, exchange, or request information about our services from the Application.  

Changes

If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our app and website to notify you of these changes and we will use for these new purposes only data collected from the time of the policy change forward. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our app and website periodically.
